▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
