The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
