Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
