The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
