The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Striking! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
