Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know all that you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
