The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
