Al-Hijjr 3 of 6
We created mankind from clay, molded from mud, 26 while We had brought the jinn into being before out of blazing fire. 27 Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape; 28 When I have completed shaping him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall you down before him in prostration." 29 The angels bowed in homage in a body 30 But Satan did not; he refused to join those who prostrated themselves. 31 God asked Iblis, "What made you not join the others in prostration?" 32 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud." 33 [Allah] said, "Then get out of it, for indeed, you are expelled. 34 and will be subjected to condemnation until the Day of Judgment." 35 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 36 Allah said: "For sure you are granted respite 37 "Till the predetermined time." 38 "O my Lord," he said, "since You have led me into error I'll beguile them with the pleasures of the world and lead them astray, 39 "Except Your chosen, (guided) slaves among them." 40 Allah said: "Here is the path that leads straight to Me. 41 Surely, as regards My servants, you have no authority, over them except those who follow you of the deviators. 42 and for all such, behold, hell is the promised goal. 43 It has seven gates; for every gate there shall be a separate party of them. 44

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
