▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Dark-green. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 houris, cloistered in cool pavilions -- 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
