The tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 As does boiling water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
