The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
