Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and the brooding night! 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
