The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 in columns outstretched. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
