And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
