O Ye apostles! eat the good things and work righteously; verily of that which ye work I am the Knower. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 So leave them in their error till a time. 54 Do they fancy that Our continuing to give them wealth and children (means) that 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Verily, [only] they who stand in reverent awe of their Sustainer, 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 and those who give what they give, their hearts quaking that they are returning to their Lord -- 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so. 61 We charge not any soul save to its capacity, and with Us is a Book speaking truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 On the contrary, their hearts are in neglect of this and their works are different than those of the believers, the works that they are doing. 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Should they not think upon the saying? Or, did anything come upon them that had not come upon their ancient forefathers? 68 Or did they not recognise their apostle, and rejected him? 69 Do they say he is mad! No, he came to them with the truth, but most of them hate the truth. 70 And were the truth to follow their desires there would have been corrupted the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is therein. Aye! We have come to them with their admonition; so it is from their admonition that they turn away. 71 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ And though We have mercy on them We may remove whatsoever of hurt is with them, surely they would persist in their exorbitance, wandering perplexed. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it. 77

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
