And call to mind what time Allah will say: O 'Isa, son of Maryam! was it thou who said to the people: take me and my mother as two gods beside Allah! 'Isa will say: hallowed be Thou! It was not for me to say that to which I had no right; had I said it, Thou would have surely known it; Thou knowest that which is in my mind and I know not that which is in Thy mind. Verily Thou! Thou art the Great Knower of the things hidden. 116 I told them only what You commanded me to, "Worship God, my Lord and your Lord." I was a witness to what they did as long as I remained among them, and when You took my soul, You were the watcher over them. You are the witness of all things, 117 If You should punish them - indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them - indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 118 Allah will say: 'This is the Day the truthful shall benefit by their truthfulness. They shall live for ever in Gardens underneath which rivers flow. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. That is the great winning' 119 To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is in them, and He is powerful over everything. 120
