Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). 82
