۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
