Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble, recording, 11 They know all that you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
