Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
