Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering; 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes). 67 And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 those who do not testify falsely and when they come across something impious, pass it by nobly, 72 who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not down thereat deaf and blind; 73 And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous." 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 There they shall abide forever: a blessed dwelling and a blessed resting place. 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
