Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
