The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
