We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
