Al-Dukhaan 2 of 3
And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 and from the Pharaoh. He was the chief of the transgressors. 31 And We chose them (the Children of Israel) above the 'Alamin (mankind, and jinns) [during the time of Musa (Moses)] with knowledge, 32 And granted them signs in which there was a plain trial. 33 These men do say, 34 "There is no dying for us but once; and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba' and those who came before them? We destroyed them, because they were guilty of sin. 37 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport. 38 We did not create them save with a purpose, yet most people have no knowledge of this. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 save those to whom God shows mercy. Surely, He is the Mighty, the Merciful One. 42
