Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Surely the fruit of the Zaqqum tree 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 As does boiling water. 46 'Seize him and drag him into the center of Hell. 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
