What aileth those who disbelieve, toward thee hastening. 36 on the right and on the left in groups? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 the Day when they shall rush from their graves, as if they were hurrying to a raised flag, 43 Their eyes lowered in dejection, ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised! 44
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
