The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
