Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
