Al-Mu' minoon 4 of 6
'O Messengers, eat of the good things and do righteousness; surely I know the things you do. 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they think that because We have granted them abundance of wealth and sons, 55 We would hasten them on in every good? Nay, they do not understand. 56 Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord, 59 Who give whatsoever they give (in His way), and their hearts tremble with fear that they have to go back to their Lord, 60 These are hastening on to good, and they are therein foremost. 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.) 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 being proud against it, talking foolishness by night. 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or did they not recognise their apostle, and rejected him? 69 Or they say, “He is afflicted by a demon”; in fact he brought the Truth to them, and most of them dislike the Truth. 70 Had truth been subject to their whims the heavens and the earth and all those within them would have been depraved. In fact We had sent them their reminder, but they turned away from good advice. 71 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. 72 And lo! thou summonest them indeed unto a straight path. 73 and surely they that believe not in the world to come are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it. 77

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
