The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
