The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ TaSeen. Those are the verses of the Koran, a clear Book, 1 A guidance and good tidings for believers 2 Those who establish regular prayers and give in regular charity, and also have (full) assurance of the hereafter. 3 Verily those who believe not in the Hereafter - fairseeming unto them We have made their works, so that they wander perplexed. 4 They are those for whom there will be an evil torment (in this world). And in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers. 5 You have been conveyed the Qur'an from One all-wise and all-knowing. 6 (Remember) when Moses said to his family: "I see a fire. I shall bring you news from it, or bring an ember that you may warm yourselves." 7 And when he came near it he was called: 'Blessed be who is (Moses) in the fire and (the angels) who are around it! Exaltations to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 8 O Moses, indeed it is I - Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise." 9 Throw down your staff." When Moses saw his staff on the ground moving like a living creature, he stepped back and did not come forward again. The Lord said,"Moses, do not be afraid. Messengers do not become afraid in My presence". 10 save him who has done evil, then; after evil, has changed into good; All-forgiving am I, All-compassionate. 11 And put thy hand into the bosom of thy robe, it will come forth white but unhurt. (This will be one) among nine tokens unto Pharaoh and his people Lo! they were ever evil-living folk. 12 But when Our signs came to them in all their clarity they said, "This is clearly sorcery!" 13 They denied those Signs out of iniquity and arrogance although their hearts were convinced of their truth. So see how evil was the end of those mischief-makers! 14
