And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 We gave him back his family and doubled their number as a blessing from Us and as a reminder to the people of understanding. 43 (and We said to him): “Take in your hand a bundle of rushes and strike with it, and do not break your oath.” Indeed We found him steadfast. How excellent a servant (of Ours) he was. Indeed he constantly turned (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter). 46 and in Our sight they are of the chosen, the excellent. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 They will say nay! it is ye, for whom there is no welcome: it is ye who have brought it upon us. Evil shall be the resting-place. 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire! 64
