۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
