▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
