The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
