Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
