Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 until you visit the graves. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
