Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
