The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the fig and the olive 1 The Mount Sinai, 2 And by this city of security (Makkah). 3 Assuredly We have created man in goodliest mould, 4 Then brought him down to the lowest of the low, 5 except for those who believe and do good deeds -- theirs shall be an unending reward! 6 So, what then shall belie you concerning the Recompense? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest Judge upon all judges? 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
