The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 and the scarers scaring 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
