The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The Beneficent (God) 1 Bestowed the Qur'an, 2 Has created Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) as the soul of mankind. 3 And taught him to express clearly. 4 The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; 5 and the stars and the trees bow themselves; 6 And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance 7 That ye should not trespass in respect of the balance. 8 So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance. 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 On it are fruits and palm-trees with sheathed clusters [of dates], 11 And grain chaffed and other food. 12 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. 14 And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke: 15 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 18 He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together, 19 and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass. 20 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 21 There come forth from them pearls, both large and small. 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains: 24 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
