And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent Allah. 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
