Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
