Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers. 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Pharaoh said: "And what is the 'Lord and Cherisher of the worlds'?" 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?" 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 He said, 'The Lord of the East and West, and what between them is, if you have understanding,' 28 Said he: If you will take a god besides me, I will most certainly make you one of the imprisoned. 29 'What, even if I brought you something clear' said he (Moses). 30 He (Pharaoh) replied: 'Show us your sign, if you are of the truthful' 31 So Moses threw down his staff and suddenly it appeared as a serpent, plainly visible. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
