The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 177 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ "Maintain just measure in your business and do not cause loss to others. 181 Weigh on an even balance. 182 and do not deliver short, and do not go about creating mischief in the land, 183 Fear He who created you, and the generations of the ancient' 184 They said, "You are no more than a bewitched and insane man 185 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! 186 "So cause a piece of the heaven to fall on us, if you are of the truthful!" 187 (Shu'aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 190 Yet verily your Lord is mighty and merciful. 191
