Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
