And naught prevented men from believing when the guidance came to them, but that they said, 'Has God sent forth a mortal as Messenger?' 94 Say: 'Had there been angels walking at peace in the earth, We would have sent down an angel from heaven to them as a Messenger' 95 Say: 'God suffices as a witness between me and you; surely He is aware of and sees His servants.' 96 And he whom God guides, he alone has found the right way; whereas for those whom He lets go astray thou canst never find anyone to protect them from Him: and [so, when] We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection, [they will lie] prone upon their faces, blind and dumb and deaf, with hell as their goal; [and] every time [the fire] abates, We shall increase for them [its] blazing flame. 97 This shall be their meed because they disbelieved in Our signs and said when we have become bones and fragments, shall we in sooth be raised up a new creation! 98 ۞ Do they not see that God, who has created heavens and earth, is able to create the like of them? He has appointed a definite term for them; there is no doubt about it, but the wrongdoers persist in denying the truth. 99 Say (to the disbelievers): "If you possessed the treasure of the Mercy of my Lord (wealth, money, provision, etc.), then you would surely hold back (from spending) for fear of (being exhausted), and man is ever miserly!" 100
