Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
