Hast thou not seen that Allah causeth water to fall from the sky, and We produce therewith fruit of divers hues; and among the hills are streaks white and red, of divers hues, and (others) raven-black; 27 And of men and beasts and cattle, likewise of diverse colours. Those only of His bondmen who have knowledge fear Allah. Verily Allah is the Mighty, the Forgiving. 28 Verily those Who read the book of Allah and establish prayer and expend of that wherewith We have provided them, secretly and in open, hope for a merchandise that shall not perish. 29 That He will pay them their wages and increase them of His grace. Lo! He is Forgiving, Responsive. 30 That which We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth and it confirms what was before it. Allah is Aware and sees His worshipers. 31 So We made those of Our creatures whom We had chosen, heirs to the Book; but some of these exceed themselves, and some follow the middle course, and some surpass others in goodness by God's will, which is the greatest blessing. 32 They shall enter the Gardens of everlasting stay (Eden) – in which they shall be given to adorn armlets of gold and pearls; and their garment in it is silk. 33 They shall say: 'Praise belongs to Allah who has removed all sorrow from us. Indeed, our Lord is the Forgiver, the Thanker. 34 Through His grace He has admitted us to the everlasting Abode, where neither toil nor weariness affects us." 35 And those who disbelieve - for them shall be Hell-Fire. It shall not be decreed to them that they should die, nor shall the torment thereof be lightened for them. Thus We requite every ingrate. 36 They will cry out in Hell and say: “Our Lord, let us out so that we may act righteously, different from what we did before.” (They will be told): “Did we not grant you an age long enough for anyone to take heed if he had wanted to take heed? Besides, there came a warner to you. So have a taste of the torment now. None may come to the help of the wrong-doers.” 37
